Vertex specializes in computer graphics consulting work. Clients include BAE Systems out of San Jose, CA and Rockwell Collins here in SLC, UT. Current projects involve 3D computer animation making CG movies of military vehicles and simulation projects coding (c/c++) tools used in creating computer simulations.

I'm actively pursuing digital photography as a natural spin off of my animation work since I use my photos for textures and scenery in my CG movies. And it gets me outdoors rather than glued to several computer screens. See the Photos section here for a sampling of my outdoor photography portfolio.

Vertex Computing is a sole proprietorship operation, licensed to do business in the state of Utah, and owned and operated by Paul and Ramona Phillips who is also my sole employee. I do the computer work. Mona handles everything else from artistic feedback to office manager, inventory control, computer hardware maintenance, filing, accounts payable, and lead gopher. Her job description is very broad. Over the last year she's taken to getting behind the camera and not just in front with her wonderful smile!
